Catherine Paynther is well known for her landscape, marine and still life paintings.

She works in  Acryl, Watercolour and Gouache on Cotton-Canvas achieving rich glowing tones in delicately super-imposed layers of colour using mica, lapis and gold, aerosol and liquid acrylic varnishes.
