F. Gubler developed his passion for painting from earliest
childhood and took part in many art contests when he was growing up.
After completing his studies, Friedrich
Gubler devoted himself intensively to painting, next to his profession as a
free-lance architect.
Between 1980 and 2000 a great number of
works were created, which were, up to this exhibition, only shown to friend and
relatives.
In his own language of colour and harmony
he has laid down moments and moods from nature, which he loves a lot. This way
partially romantic water colours and pastels of exquisite and tender atmospheres
were created.
On the other hand this painter shows in
humorous and bold caricatures his deep sense of humour and tells the world
around him in this way what he thinks.
In strong contrast to the often very
detailed pictures of nature are his abstract works. Here F. Gubler generously
combines colour and shape elements, without disturbing the harmony.
His oil paintings are particularly strong.
Gallery Kentaro presented a comprehensive exhibition of the
wide spectrum of his creations.
The artists Rosa Carballo and Carlos Dorado held a musical performance at the
opening of the exhibition.
19 October - 14 November 2000
Mixed
Exhibition of International Artists
Gallery Kentaro
is developing itself into a meeting point for international art and
artists.
Various works on exposition are known from art museums,
biennales and well known exhibitions at international art institutions and
galleries. A number of them can be found in international literature on art.
This exhibition rises up to the high expectations of the
art experts.
